Gems Angels House is committed to providing a high level of support in a comfortable environment, providing long-term care in the community for service users between the ages of 18 and 65, with autistic spectrum disorder, asperger’s syndrome and/or learning disabilities through positive support.
We provide person-centred support that promotes the mental, physical and emotional well-being of our service users, which we believe, will result in a greater sense of value and empowerment.
Gems Angels House is a large detached two storey house with a large private driveway set off the main road, with parking for at least five vehicles.
The house benefits from a spacious open plan lounge, dining, kitchen and study area, the design allows everyone to be in the same area, but still able to enjoy their own space at the same time. There is a separate utility room.

French doors from the dining area lead out to a large patio area, patio furniture is available, to sit and enjoy the south facing enclosed garden, weather permitting.

There is a log cabin with a covered veranda, situated at the rear of the garden, to be enjoyed as a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the house! Raised flower beds on each side of the garden, planted with evergreen plants.

The house has six bedrooms, five upstairs and one on the ground floor at the rear of the house, each room has Sky+ installed so you can record your favourite programmes.

All rooms are fully furnished, bedding, vertical blinds and towels are also provided, however, service users may bring their own furniture, bedding and curtains to furnish their rooms, subject to Health & Safety considerations.

Each room has en-suite facilities consisting of a power shower and enclosed cubicle, Toilet, wash basin vanity unit and a heated towel rail.

Plasma screen television and Sky+ is available in the lounge for everyone to enjoy together, there is a cordless handset available to make and receive calls in private.
